Industrial Visit – Mechanical Engineering Department

Today, 10th August 2026, the Department of Mechanical Engineering successfully organized an Industrial Visit to Shree Tatyasaheb Kore Warana Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. Warananagar, Kolhapur for our SY students.

The visit provided students with valuable practical exposure to thermal engineering concepts, particularly the working of steam boilers, steam turbines, cooling towers, and various systems involved in a sugar industry and power generation plant. It helped students connect their classroom knowledge with real industrial applications and understand the operation and maintenance of industrial equipment.

A special appreciation to our Director Mr. Viren Bhirdi, Principal Dr. S. G. Sapate, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department Mr. A.R Nadaf for constant support and encouragement.
